Active Listening

When someone is good at active listening, it means they fully engage with the speaker by paying close attention to the message being conveyed, without being distracted or planning their response while the other person is talking. This involves showing empathy, making eye contact, nodding, and occasionally providing verbal affirmations or questions that indicate understanding and interest. Good active listeners are able to comprehend the information, emotions, and intentions behind the words and respond thoughtfully. This skill fosters effective communication, builds trust, and enhances mutual understanding in personal and professional relationships.
